The road which runs round the highest area of the mountains and in whose rocky crest nestles the beautiful town of Marvão, immediately reminds us of the idea of the “invincible” town which captivated its first inhabitants. The way its walls and towers form part of the rocky slopes make Marvão a homogeneous whole, with man-made construction blending with its topography. #Marvao #Alentejo #Portugal
